SII’s pioneering approach to quality

SII is at the forefront of internationally-recognized quality assurance:

	One of the very first IT consulting specialists to obtain ISO 9001 certification. Since achieving certification back in 1992, we’ve had our ISO 9001 status renewed five times by AFAQ, France’s leading independent certification body – making us fully ISO 9001-compliant for over 15 years.

In 2003, to maintain our leadership in quality control, we took the decision to embark on a process improvement approach based on CMMi, which more closely matches our range of specialist activities.

Our decision was rewarded in 2004 when our Aix-en-Provence office was granted Maturity Level 2 assessment through Qualium. We’re now in the process of actively rolling out this new model across our entire business:

	Our operations now include the full range of practices corresponding to the stringent demands of CMMi Maturity Level 3
	As needs and opportunities present themselves, we’re undertaking audits in our European branch offices and submitting them for appraisal by the Software Engineering Institute (using the SCAMPI LA method), with a view to inclusion in the SEI’s accredited list (http://sas.sei.cmu.edu/pars/pars.aspx)
	As of March 2007, five SII agencies have been granted CMMi assessments: Aix-en-Provence at Maturity Level 3, and Nantes, Rennes, Sophia Antipolis and Toulouse at Maturity Level 2.
